Joe Engerer is an associate attorney at Magdich Law and has lived in southeast Michigan his entire life, growing up in Northville with his parents and two younger brothers. He graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2014. Joe has practiced insurance defense litigation since first being sworn in as an attorney and has represented multiple Michigan auto insurers as clients. Joe prides himself on his ability to debate and continues to perfect his persuasive abilities, raising the bar in obtaining favorable outcomes in court.
Joe started his career in politics and public policy, which continue to be a passion of his. He helped lead a successful 2014 statewide Michigan Supreme Court election campaign and has worked for Justice Brian K. Zahra on the Court as well as the Majority Policy Office of the Michigan House of Representatives. Joe continues to be politically engaged and active. He has also worked in the field of physical therapy and has first-hand familiarity with some of the medical issues that his clients encounter in Michigan No-Fault PIP lawsuits.
Joe enjoys travel, golf, reading up on politics and theology, and spending time with his wife Amy and his young son and daughter.
Little Known Fact: Joe is a proud nerd with a lifelong love of Star Wars and may be caught hiding references to the films in his legal briefs.
