Madeline D. Nikkila is an Associate Attorney at Magdich Law, P.C. With more than fourteen years of litigation experience, Ms. Nikkila focuses her practice on insurance defense litigation, including first-party no-fault personal protection insurance (PIP) claims, third-party automobile negligence actions, uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, and insurance coverage disputes. Prior to joining Magdich Law, she represented major insurance carriers and their insureds in a wide range of automobile negligence and no-fault matters, handling cases from inception through resolution. Her experience includes successful jury trial experience, appeals, arbitrations, facilitations, and extensive motion practice throughout Michigan courts.

Throughout her career, Ms. Nikkila has represented insurance companies, individual insureds, medical providers, and injured plaintiffs, providing her with a unique perspective on litigation strategy and case evaluation. She has conducted hundreds of depositions, argued numerous dispositive motions, and litigated complex personal injury and insurance matters throughout Michigan. Her experience includes insurance defense, plaintiff personal injury litigation, fraud and Special Investigations Unit (SIU) matters, insurance coverage disputes, and regulatory compliance, allowing her to develop practical and effective strategies for resolving complex legal issues.

Having spent significant portions of her career representing both plaintiffs and defendants, Madeline brings a well-rounded perspective to litigation and a practical understanding of the arguments presented on both sides of a case. She has also served as lead counsel and compliance manager for a pharmaceutical company, gaining extensive experience with regulatory and business issues.
