Mais Moran joined Magdich Law in October of 2019 as an Associate Attorney, because she felt the need to challenge herself and gain competence in more diverse areas of the law. Ms. Moran thoroughly enjoys the exposure to new information, methodologies and legal approaches. Her prior legal experience was focused on family and employment-based immigration law.
- Vice President for the 1L Evening Division on the Student Bar Association from September 2012 to September 2013.
- Mentor for the University of Detroit Mercy’s Mentorship Program.
- Fundraising Chairman for Western Michigan University’s Alternative Spring Break volunteer program.
- Managed 150 to 300 immigration cases a quarter, including drafting, reviewing, assembling and filing an array of petitions.
Little Known Fact:
Ms. Moran immigrated to the U.S. in 1995 from Iraq, and prior to her arrival, she lived in five different countries.
Ms. Moran is a member of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan for the Oakland and Wayne division, as well as the Federal Bar Association. She currently resides in Farmington Hills with her husband and son. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, and reading.
